  • Easily open the bug reports and share them with your colleagues

  • Request a screen recording, or grab a screenshot with just one button

How to set up the app

If you don't have one, create an account on Bugpilot.

Setting up Bugpilot takes three simple steps:

  1. Install the app from Crisp Marketplace

  2. Pin the app in the sidebar of your Inbox page

  3. Add the Bugpilot tracking code

1. Install the Bugpilot App for Crisp

Go to your Bugpilot dashboard, under Integrations, and find Crisp. Click the Connect button to start adding the Bugpilot App for Crisp:

After approving the necessary permissions, you will be redirected to the Bugpilot dashboard to complete the setup.

2. Pin the app in your Inbox

The next step is to make your Bugpilot for Crisp app stick to the sidebar and be available immediately when entering a conversation. To do so:

  1. Open a conversation from your Inbox in Crisp.

  2. From the sidebar, find Bugpilot and drag it to the top of the list like in the image below.

3. Add the Bugpilot tracking code

Before Bugpilot will start working, you'll need to install the Bugpilot tracking code on your website or app. From your Bugpilot Dashboard, follow the instructions to Install the Tracking Code.

Testing

After the setup has been completed, go to your website/app and start a conversation (as one of your customers would) from the chat widget. Inside your Inbox, open the same conversation and you will see a Bugpilot report.

You are ready to go!

Every time your users start a new conversation, you will get an automated Bugpilot report containing screenshots, technical information, browser logs, and network activity. You will also see the three most recent reports for each user in your Inbox.
